Duties and responsibilities:·         Develop detailed EDC design specifications, including form layouts, edit checks, dynamic logic, controlled terminology, and calculated fields based on study protocol and stakeholder requirements.·         Build, configure, and validate Medidata Rave EDC databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory and sponsor standards.·         Conduct comprehensive database testing (unit testing, system testing, and UAT oversight), resolve discrepancies, and ensure readiness for deployment.·         Execute production migrations, database deployments, mid‑study updates, and system maintenance throughout the clinical trial.·         Collaborate closely with data managers, biostatisticians, clinical teams, vendors, and investigational sites to support efficient and accurate data collection across all phases of the study.·         Maintain audit‑ready documentation, support internal and external audits (FDA, TMF & Documentation audits etc) and provide subject‑matter expertise on EDC design, data validation, and system compliance.·         Troubleshoot and resolve data‑ and system‑related issues reported by study teams, vendors, or sites to ensure uninterrupted study execution.·         Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing EDC development standards, updating SOPs, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices to improve data quality, system efficiency, and overall operational performance for Canadian‑managed clinical projects. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, information systems or a related discipline or completion of a college program in computer science is preferred.
