  Job Description

K&D Trading International Inc. in Burnaby, BC is looking for one Retail Sales Manager.

Job details are as follows:

Location of employment: 4450 Juneau St, Burnaby, BC, V5C 4C8

Number of position: 1

Job Type: Full time and Permanent

Starting date: as soon as possible

Salary: $36.00 per hour, 35 to 40 hours per week

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Languages: English

Tasks:

  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Supervision: 5 - 15 people
