Job Description:

Mehrnaz Alavi is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join her household in West Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time position offering $19.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the child, while supporting daily routines and fostering healthy development.

Wage: $19.00 hourly / 40 hours per week full time

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking Scent free

Work setting: Employer's home, Urban area

Responsibilities and Tasks :

Change diapers, Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Care for pets Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Care for foster children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Supervise and care for children, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Help children with homework, Cook Additional information, Work conditions and physical capabilities, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail.
