Job Description:

EPI Cloud Consultancy Services Inc. (operating as 12934001 Canada Inc.) is seeking to employ a Software Tester at its business location at 15-75 Bayly Street West, Ajax, Ontario, L1S 7K7, Canada. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintain a client-focused approach, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Position

Salary: 39.00 per hour for 30 - 40 hours per week

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role

Overtime: 1.5 times the wages after 44 hours per week

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certification/diploma in a related program of 1-2 years

Language Requirement: English  

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and document testing plans for software

Install and configure required software, hardware, and operating systems prior to testing

Develop testing policies and procedures for software and information systems

Implement and follow testing standards across projects

Design, create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts throughout the software development lifecycle

Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable quality metrics and reports

Identify and monitor product defects and assist with resolving any issues

Maintain reusable test assets, test data management, and environment readiness
Ensure adherence to ISO, SOC2, and internal QA standards
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve testing efficiency, productivity, and overall product quality

Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing testing processes and implementing best practices

Mentor and support junior team members by providing guidance on testing techniques, tools, and quality standards.
