Dues and responsibilies:
Assist in the development of architectural designs
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements and other
technical documents and reports
Prepare manual and computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings, specificaons, cost
esmates and lisngs of quanes of material from conceptual drawings and
instrucons
Construct architectural and display models, and 3-D virtual models of architectural
designs
May supervise draers, technicians and technologists on the architectural team
May supervise construcon projects and coordinate, monitor and inspect work done by
others.
Conduct site inspecons or site operaons to ensure work is progressing as planned
Ensure safety protocols on jobsites and act as a primary point of contact from clients and
contractors.
Provide reports and updates to clients and or senior management.
Resolve site issues that arises and maintain a producve work environment.
Ensure closing out procedures are complete before project handover.
Address unforeseen issues such as weather, material shortage and logiscs.
