Description:

As a Retail Store Supervisor at Movin’ Electric Vehicles, you are empowered to create and lead a dynamic, successful, and enthusiastic retail bike shop team. As Retail Store Supervisor, you are a key member of the operational team that reports directly to the General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assist the General Manager with daily store operations in compliance with established procedures.

·        Maximize store sales and achieve sales goals.

·        Supervise and provide guidance to sales staff and cashiers.

·        Ensure all staff have the knowledge, skills, and motivation to reach goals.

·        Optimize sales through prompt and excellent customer service.

·        Respond to customer concerns and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.

·        Maintain an efficient and effective inventory by utilizing the inventory tracking systems.

·        Train new sales staff and cashier.

·        Assess the needs of customers, educate them about products and services.

·        Implement best practices to increase sales and profitability.

·        Monitor work attendance, punctuality and the quality of services employees provide.

·        Collaborate and contribute with marketing team to execute store events that produce impactful sales results as well as increased community involvement.

·        Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and oversee store security.

·        Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arranging for maintenance and repair work if necessary.

 Key Competencies:

·        Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience.

·        Minimum 2+ years working in a sales-focused environment.

·        In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.

·        Customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.

·        Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising.

·        Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·        College graduated or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

·        Standing for extended periods up to an entire work shift.

·        Bend, lift, open and move products and fixtures up to 75 pounds.

Work hours:  35 to 40 hours a week.

Salary:  $30.00 to 35.00 per hour
