Responsibilities

·       Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

·       Schedule work

·       Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification

·       Instruct apprentices

·       Supervise other workers

·       Cut materials using power tools or by hand

·       Estimate costs and materials

·       Fit and join sheet metal parts

·       Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
