  Job Description

We are looking for 1 sous-chef for full time employment at least 32 hours per week for our restaurant located in North Vancouver BC.

Salary depends the experience and ranges from 22$ to 24$ hourly plus gratuities. 

Duties:

  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Required:

  • Good knowledge of english 
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • High School Certificate
